Social Media
I love sharing inspiration and getting inspired via social media. My Klout score of 70-72 puts me in the top 10% of influencers world wide. Many people ask me what channels I use and how. Whether you follow me for inspiration, or to see how I get such high scores: you are welcome! 😉

Got Klout?
Do you know Klout? Klout measures your influence in social media. It is a great tool which monitors your posts, followers and interactions on all channels. What is your Klout score?
Basic social media rules
First things first: I am very active: reading, posting and reacting daily; but I only respond to interesting content. No games, sales promotions, MLM or meaningless chit-chat for me. I love to connect to like-minded people. In addition I share, share, share and give away great info and tips. No selling, no promotion, only great content. Only every now and then I post about my products or services, but always in combination with free tips.
Do you want more impact and influence on Social Media?
I have recently put everything I know about social media into a brand new e-course that is launching soon. You can pre-purchase the e-course on my website or send me an email to be notified when it is released. If you want to have more impact on Social Media then don’t miss out on this opportunity to get the expert advice and inside information on how it’s done.
These are my favorite networks and how I use them:
1) Instagram
I am relatively new to this photo and video network, but it has quickly become my favorite. Almost every day I post pictures that provide a glimpse into the life of a digital nomad: cities and other places I visit, food, and travel. Only occasionally I post selfies. I wrote a blog on how I use Instagram as my personal photo diary and to get started yourself; Instagram for beginners.
2) Facebook
My personal Facebook profile is where I post some personal stuff, digital nomad experiences, tips and inspiration and information about my events. Unfortunately I have almost reached the maximum amount of friends (5.000) so reserve any remaining spots for people I have actually met. But don’t worry, you can follow me and still see all my posts.
I also have a professional Facebook page, on which I share only my most interesting posts.
3) Twitter
No personal stuff on Twitter: just inspiration, tips, interesting and funny websites I find and news about current events.
4) YouTube
I love videos! I make vlogs and short videos to answer frequently asked questions, and to share inspiration and information. Sometimes I post mini meditations so you can experience the beautiful places I visit. I have an English channel and a Dutch channel.
5) LinkedIn
I am not very active on LinkedIn, but of course you can find me there. I usually publish my most interesting posts here.
6) Pinterest
I have some boards, but am not very active there.
7) Google+
I have never really used Google+, but you can find me there (if you must…).
