During the Cruise your Business Retreat in late 2018 we stopped in Lanzarote. It was a lovely break from the cruise being out in nature and it was our last chance to be on land for the next 6 days while we crossed the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n

It was also an unexpected inspiration. Our guide introduced us to the legacy of Cesar Manrique, an artist who – out of love for his island- singlehandedly shaped tourism in such a way that it is sustainable and the island remains authentic. This happened more than 50 years ago and the results can still be seen and felt today.
